During a recent NSTA Conference, Judy King showed fellow NERDS a demo that looks like it is ripe for a great inquiry lab.

At present, all that is provided is a short video of an event.

So,

Why do the beads appear to "jump" out of the jar/beaker?

What are the variables?

why does it work in this video, but many efforts by others have failed?
